This utterly beautiful shepherd’s hut is nestled in a pretty, wildlife-rich corner at the edge of Wells-next-the-Sea. It has its own private drive, parking and garden on the small Blue Skies Campsite.
The hut is equipped with all the comforts you’d expect in self-catering accommodation except wifi, TV and oven. In the winter months, the wood burner keeps you toasty. The kitchenette includes a full-size fridge and the en suite has a heated towel rail. The bed is luxuriously comfortable, with hotel-quality sheets and towels. There is plenty of outside space and extra seating for you to bask in the sun.
The hut
Beautifully furnished and styled to create a romantic space. From the plants in the garden to the vintage style porcelain tableware, everything is designed to create a tasteful environment on the secluded plot.
Bed: Pocket sprung double bed with Cath Kidston duvet cover and hotel-quality towels, sheets and pillows.
Storage: Baskets under the bed, a bespoke ottoman at the end of the bed, lots of hooks, hangers.
Dining: Dining table and chairs, digital radio, Bluetooth sound bar, kitchenette with gas camping stove, full size fridge with ice box. Kettle, mocha pot, cafetière, tea pot, cutlery beautiful glasses, cups, mugs and plates. Tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits provided.
Door leading to en suite shower, washbasin and wc. Luxury soap, shower gel and moisturiser provided. Shelves and storage for your additional toiletries, shaving mirror. 12-volt hair dryer and cordless heated curling brush provided.
Cooking: You can cook simple meals on the gas camping stove. Pans and cooking utensils provided. You can also cook using the charcoal barbecue in the garden. Instructions and a couple of roasting recipes are in the guest information folder. We have no oven.
Garden: Picnic bench, garden bench, deck chairs to relax with a book and glass of wine, Weber BBQ.
Parking: Designated car parking for one car.
Heating: Wood burner. It gets the hut more than toasty and you won’t need to use it during the summer months (though you may want to just for the romance of it!). Instructions in the guest folder. Towel rail for the colder months.
Also provided: Enough wood and kindling to get you started with the wood burner, gas for the camping stove and charcoal for the BBQ (more wood, gas canisters and charcoal for sale on-site).

Zoe has lovingly decorated, furnished and stocked the hut to provide every comfort you’ll need for a special, romantic break. She is in love with Wells-next-the-Sea and wants your day to be special too. Her own preference is to swim, walk, cycle, sail and kayak the creeks and countryside but you might just want to relax with a good book or newspaper, chilled wine or coffee. She can make recommendations for how to get the most from your stay.
